Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment. The role includes planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of the school community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and encourages active participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development and well‑being.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
  • Manage classroom resources effectively and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
  • Support the school’s policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and equality.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

  • Must be willing to travel and pick up shifts on a day to day basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
