A leading beverage manufacturer in Tadcaster is seeking a Day Technician to work on the canning line. The ideal candidate should have engineering qualifications and experience in a safety-critical environment. Responsibilities include maintenance, diagnosis of machinery faults, and support of production operations. The role offers a competitive salary of £48,531 and an excellent benefits package, including annual bonus, pension plan, 32 days holiday, and wellbeing support.

Salary: £48,531 (Inclusive of Shift Allowance) with benefits listed below.
Contract: Permanent
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 7am- 3pm with 1 weekend worked every month.

As the Day Technician, you’ll work within our canning line of production; we support the production of approximately 4.2 mhl per year brewing and packaging some of the nation’s favourite brands, so we need to make sure our machinery is in top condition! The technicians utilise their proactivity to identify any abnormalities on the plant; to mitigate any downtime of production whilst also working to support colleagues directly on the shop floor and monitor the overall performance of the production line. Your day to day will vary, but at its core you will:

You’ll be based within the broader packaging team, focused on keeping our bottling, canning and other lines running smoothly and efficiently. Your role contributes to ensuring machinery is reliable, well‑maintained and safe, while also anticipating future needs and driving fresh, innovative improvements to increase the site’s overall output.
