Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 4 Registered Nursing Associate for the Day Surgery team at Chase Farm Hospital. The role supports elective procedures, from admission to discharge, with observations, delegated care, and escalation of concerns as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must have or be awaiting NMC registration and understand the NMC Code and revalidation requirements. The hub operates six days a week and is GIRFT-accredited.

Qualifications

• NMC registration or pending registration as Nursing Associate.
• Understanding of the NMC Code and revalidation requirements.
• Experience within a multidisciplinary team and acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Support patients through day surgery from admission to discharge.
• Undertake clinical observations and provide delegated care.
• Deliver post-operative and safe patient transfer support.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Promote infection prevention and control and escalate concerns.
