Job summary

Network Healthcare is seeking a Day Sit Care Assistant in the Bristol area to provide long and short day sits to support our live-in carers' breaks. You will play a key role in delivering person-centred care to clients with varying needs and conditions.

You must hold a full UK driving licence and own vehicle, be willing to travel within Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, and work on weekday (£14 p/h) or weekend (£16 p/h) shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience as a care assistant or similar in home care.
• NVQ Training opportunity is available.

Responsibilities

• Long and short day sits (3 hour shifts on average).
• Assist with personal care, support with food and fluid, medication, light domestic duties, and mobility.
• Must be prepared to travel within Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
• All shifts between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Bristol, South Gloucestershire & North Somerset (Commutable from Avonmouth, Weston-super-Mare, Nailsea, Yate, Thornbury, Chepstow, Bristol, Portishead, Long Ashton and Bath, Filton, Clevedon, Stoke Gifford, Bradley Stoke, Nailsea) Are you an experienced Care Assistant or similar, looking to provide a range of long and short day sits to cover the breaks of our Live-in-carers. You will be instrumental in delivering person-centred care to individuals with various complex and chronic conditions. Network Healthcare is a nationwide home care provider with specialist departments for live-in care, complex care as well as learning disabilities support. We aim to facilitate independence for all our service users so they can reach their full capabilities with dignity and respect within their own homes. This role would suit a confident Care Assistant, looking for a specialist role delivering care for a range of clients with chronic or long-term health conditions.
