Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking a Workshop Lead to head a team in assembling specialist products on a permanent day shift. You will ensure work adheres to quality standards and schedules, while leading and training staff and maintaining a safe working environment.

The role requires time-served mechanical fitting experience, supervisory capability, and the ability to read technical drawings. You will oversee stock, records, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance.

Qualifications

• Time Served Mechanical Fitter or relevant experience.
• Experience in building special purpose machines.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• Experience in assembly.
• Ability to read assembly/technical documentation such as drawings and work instructions.
• Adhere to manufacturing SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in assembling and building specialist products.
• Ensure work is done to quality standards and on time.
• Train and supervise staff; maintain health & safety.
• Maintain safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
• Ensure equipment availability and calibration of gauges.
