Job summary

Gi Group UK is recruiting for Warehouse Picker Packer roles in Newburn, Newcastle upon Tyne. The position operates on a day rotation basis, with shifts from 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm and a Monday-to-Friday pattern.

The role offers ongoing temporary work with potential for permanent placement and an hourly pay rate starting at £12.71, rising to £13.22 per hour. Responsibilities include accurate picking/packing, using handheld scanners, loading/unloading stock, and ensuring correct labelling for

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Experience using a handheld scanner is preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts on a Sunday-Thursday pattern.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
• Using warehouse systems and following pick lists/instructions.
• Loading/unloading stock and moving goods within the warehouse.
• Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and prepared for dispatch.
• Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised.
• Following health & safety procedures at all times.
