Job summary

Wolseley in Melmerby is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a full-time, day-shift role. You’ll be responsible for picking and packing stock, loading/unloading vehicles, and keeping the warehouse tidy and safe.

FLT experience (licenced preferred), teamwork, and warehouse experience are required, with the ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines. Training may be provided for FLT use.

• FLT experience, ideally licenced.
• Experience working in a team environment.

• Able to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• General Warehouse duties.
• Picking and packing stock, which will involve some heavy lifting.
• Loading/unloading vehicles safely.
• Driving FLT Truck - Training may be provided.
• Ensuring the workplace is tidy and adheres to our health and safety procedures.
