Job summary

Ocado Logistics in Tamworth is hiring Warehouse Operatives to join a robotics-led, state-of-the-art facility. Day roles require a positive attitude, no prior warehouse experience, and the ability to handle meat and alcohol with care.

You must be 18+ and able to commute within a reasonable distance, following health and safety instructions in a fast-paced environment. Shifts run across a 7‑day pattern with nights, featuring competitive pay (£12.84 base + £1 freezer premium, overtime 1.25x) and

Qualifications

• No warehouse experience required, just a positive attitude.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to handle Meat and Alcohol items safely.
• Understand and follow Health & Safety briefings and instructions.
• Work across ambient and chilled areas (0–5°C).

Responsibilities

• Despatch – load customer totes and organise returns; physical lifting involved.
• Pick – pick and pack orders using robotic systems.
• Inbound – receive goods, check quality and place into totes.
• Trade roster – flexible scheduling with potential extra pay.
• Core roster – advance notice of pattern and overtime access.
