Job summary

Workchain is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Newent for a permanent day-shift role supporting warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will earn £13 per hour with weekly pay and have the potential to work additional hours when required.

The role involves receiving, checking and storing goods; picking and packing for dispatch; loading/unloading deliveries; stock checks; and maintaining a safe, clean work environment as part of a busy team.

Qualifications

• Organised approach to warehouse tasks and routines.
• Able to follow instructions and work safely.
• Physically capable of handling warehouse duties.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store incoming goods.
• Pick and prepare items for dispatch.
• Pack products safely and accurately.
• Load and unload deliveries where required.
• Move stock around the warehouse using safe manual handling practices.
• Complete basic stock checks and paperwork.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a busy team.
