Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Group is seeking a Production Operative in Salisbury (Old Sarum) on day shifts. The role offers a fixed pattern of 40 hours per week, with regular Monday to Friday days and no nights.

You’ll operate factory machinery, follow specifications and keep accurate production records in a well‑established local manufacturing setting. Ideal candidates will have good attention to detail, be comfortable with manual handling and reading simple drawings, and bring reliable punctuality.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or packaging preferred.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
• Manual handling capable with nimble hands.
• Reliable and punctual for regular day shifts.
• Own safety boots.

Responsibilities

• Operating factory machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Using hand tools and packaging materials throughout the production process.
• Completing production documentation accurately against works orders.
• Reading and following basic drawings and specifications.
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and to the required hygiene standards.
