Day Shift Mechanical Plumber - FM Service Provider - Tourist Attraction - South West London - £43,000 per annum

CBW is currently recruiting for a Day Shift mechanical plumber to cover a large tourist attraction located in South West London. The successful candidate will be a qualified plumber or mechanical engineer and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. In return, the company is paying a competitive salary of up to £43,000, further training and career progression.

Hours of Work & Package Information
  • 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off, 07:00 am to 19:00 pm / 10:00 am to 22:00 pm
  • £42,000 per annum

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Monitor mechanical plant
  • 60% of the work involves plumbing (unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc)
  • Pumps, motors, seals, bearings
  • Air conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (filter changes, cleaning)
  • Water Treatment (temperature checks / not dosing)
  • Monitor the BMS systems
  • Basic electrical duties (lamp changes etc)
  • General building fabric
  • Escort specialist subcontractors
  • Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
  • Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
  • Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
  • Report service affecting issue to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
  • Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
  • Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
Requirements
