Hales Group Ltd is recruiting a Machine Operator for a role based in Bury St Edmunds. The position is day shift (08:00-16:30) with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour, in a busy production environment.

You will help run and monitor production lines, set up machines at shift start, and ensure outputs meet quality standards. The role requires reliability and a hands-on approach to maintain smooth operation, adhere to safety procedures, and support warehouse tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Set up machines at the start of shifts
• Monitor output and quality during production runs

• Follow health & safety and company procedures
• Report faults to team leader or supervisor
• Support general warehouse and production tasks as needed
