Job summary

Aqumen Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a busy heavy manufacturing facility in Leeds LS10. This Day shift role offers a £42,000 base salary plus overtime, with a 07:00–16:00 Mon-Thu and 06:30–15:00 Fri schedule and no night work.

You'll perform PPM and reactive maintenance across a variety of plant equipment, including 3‑phase systems, motors, gearboxes and PLCs. The position emphasizes reliability, safety, and site improvements within a permanent Leeds posting.

Qualifications

• Experience performing planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding skills on 3-phase systems, motors, gearboxes, conveyors and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Diagnose machine faults and install/repair plant and equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and participate in engineering projects.
