Job summary
NT Engineering & Manufacturing in Fife is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a small, dedicated maintenance team on a daytime shift. You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on presses, forklifts, and site services, fault find PLCs, read electrical drawings, and support automation projects.
The role offers strong benefits and a stable day-shift schedule. Candidates should be time-served with 17th/18th edition and be comfortable on-call for
Qualifications
- Qualified, time served Electrical Engineer (minimum HNC or apprentice trained).
- 17th or 18th edition qualification.
- At least 3–4 years’ experience maintaining manufacturing or production equipment.
- Strong BS7671 knowledge and ability to read electrical drawings.
- Able to fault find PLCs.
- IPAF desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Planned and preventative maintenance across presses, forklifts and other production equipment.
- General site electrical maintenance across offices, shop floor and warehouse.
- Fault finding and remedial work on PLCs, electrical control systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Support project engineering work including automation and new equipment installs.
