Job summary

A leading aerospace engineering firm in Burnley seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain advanced manufacturing equipment. This permanent role offers a salary of £41,000 plus extensive benefits, including generous annual leave, pension contributions, and professional development support. Ideal candidates will have a time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering and strong problem-solving skills. Shifts will involve a day-to-back shift rotation starting in 2026.

Qualifications

  • Experience with CNC machinery and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Capability with pressure vessels, compressors & vacuum pumps.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on production machinery.
  • Respond to machine breakdowns and perform fault-finding.
  • Identify root causes of reoccurring issues and propose improvements.
  • Report on maintenance findings professionally.
