Job summary

Restore plc in Newbridge (EH28 8TP) is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Driver for secure collections and manual handling. The role combines driving with physical duties, visiting client sites to collect confidential documents for secure destruction.

You will hold a UK Category C1 licence, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure paperwork and routes are completed accurately. The position offers a permanent contract and a 45-hour week with a quarterly bonus.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK Category C1 driving licence.
• Confident with manual handling and physically demanding work.
• Good understanding of tachograph use and Working Time Directive.
• Professional and customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
• Reliable, organised and proactive in getting the job done safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handle and move heavy sacks of paper and transport them to the vehicle.
• Collect and transport a variety of waste streams including confidential material.
• Work across customer sites, transporting paper waste between points and navigating stairs.
• Represent Restore Datashred professionally and maintain positive client relationships.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete defect sheets.
• Ensure paperwork is completed for each job and securely handed in at end of shift.
