Job summary

Dovehaven House is seeking a Care Assistant for day shifts (8am–8pm) at Dovehaven House, Southport. This role offers 22, 33, or 44 hours per week on a rota basis with a Real Living Wage and premium pay on Care Workers. You’ll join a calm, supportive team dedicated to dignity and comfort for residents.

Full induction, ongoing training, and DBS clearance are provided. Every other weekend work is required; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Calm, dependable and compassionate disposition.
• Able to work as part of a team and support others.
• Comfortable working independently, especially during day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Personal care delivered with dignity.
• Support emotional wellbeing of residents.
• Encourage independence where possible.
• Work closely with your team to maintain a safe environment.
• Night shifts include light cleaning duties to support the home.
