Job summary

Sagacity is seeking a Platform Architecture & Engineering specialist to design scalable Databricks Lakehouse platforms on AWS and/or Azure. You will architect end-to-end data pipelines, implement IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD, and ensure secure, governed environments.

You’ll work closely with client teams, run workshops, and deliver comprehensive deployment guides. Ideal candidates have hands-on Databricks experience, cloud platform design skills, and strong communication to translate technical

Qualifications

Hands-on Databricks experience with Spark, Delta Lake and Workflows.
Proven ability to design and deploy data platforms on AWS and/or Azure.
Experience with IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines in a client-facing setting.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable Databricks Lakehouse platforms on AWS/Azure.
Architect end-to-end data platforms including ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption.
Establish secure, compliant environments with IAM, data governance and network controls.
Collaborate with clients, run workshops, and translate requirements into platform designs.
Produce architecture diagrams, ADRs, runbooks and deployment guides.
