Job summary

Primus Connect is seeking a Databricks Architect/ Champion in the UK, with hybrid work options in Manchester or London. The role offers up to £130k (DOE) plus bonus and benefits and focuses on designing enterprise Databricks platforms and driving data strategy for diverse clients.

You will lead Lakehouse implementations across Azure, AWS and GCP, mentor engineers, and shape governance, security and cost optimisation practices while staying at the forefront of Databricks innovations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing enterprise-scale Databricks solutions
• Leading Data & AI platform architecture across Azure, AWS and GCP

What We're Looking For

You will likely have:

• Lakehouse Architecture
• Unity Catalog
• Spark
• MLflow

• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes and modern analytics platforms
• Cloud expertise (any of the following: Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Exceptional client-facing and consulting skills
• The ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with AI, Generative AI and Machine Learning operationalisation
• Power BI or Tableau experience
• Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, Retail or Healthcare
