Job summary

Cyber Security training courses is seeking a Data Architect to design and deliver modern data platforms using Databricks. You will work in a hybrid UK setting (1 day on site) and lead architectural discussions, shaping data strategies and secure, scalable solutions for clients.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to define data roadmaps, oversee ETL/ELT pipelines, and contribute to pre-sales activities while delivering high-impact analytics and AI-enabled outcomes.

Qualifications

• Required consultancy or professional services experience.
• Proven Databricks and Lakehouse Architecture expertise.
• Experience with Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, and data engineering principles.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data modelling methods such as Kimball/Data Vault/3NF.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Data Architect - Databricks

Location: UK (Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite)

Salary: Up to £120,000 + Benefits

We are working with a leading data consultancy seeking an experienced Data Architect to join their growing team. This role will focus on designing and delivering modern data platforms using Databricks, helping clients unlock value from their data through analytics, reporting, and AI solutions.

This is a highly client-facing position, so previous consultancy experience is essential. You will work closely with stakeholders to define data strategies, lead architectural discussions, and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Databricks Lakehouse solutions.
• Lead client workshops and gather business and technical requirements.
• Define data platform architecture, governance, and best practices.
• Support the delivery of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposals, and proof of concepts.

Qualifications
