Job summary

Network IT is seeking a Data Transformation Project Manager to lead complex data-platform and data-transformation programs from planning through delivery and handover. You will manage budgets, resources and risks while ensuring solutions meet business needs.

A strong emphasis on data governance and security, cloud data platform concepts, and effective stakeholder leadership will shape delivery across teams.

Data Transformation Project Manager

• SC Clearance
• £650 per day
• 12 month contract
• 2-3 days per week in Somerset

We're looking for a Project Manager to lead complex data-platform and data-transformation projects, from initial planning through to delivery and operational handover. You'll manage budgets, resources, risks and stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet business needs and embedding practical data governance throughout delivery.

Experience of successfully managing complex data-platform or data-transformation projects from mobilisation through delivery and transition.

Experience of implementing data governance models, including translating governance requirements into practical delivery plans, roles, controls and ways of working.

Experience of delivering Data Platforms and a strong understanding of modern cloud data-platform concepts, including data engineering, integration, security and platform governance.

Proven ability to establish an effective project approach, delivery plan, governance and assurance arrangements, and to manage scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, issues and dependencies.

Strong stakeholder leadership and communication skills, with evidenced experience of working across business, data, architecture, technology, security, suppliers and senior decision-makers.

Ability to rapidly understand a complex delivery environment, provide clear direction and maintain momentum with limited onboarding time
