Overview

Role Title: Data - Supply Chain Lead
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Telford (Hybrid)
Rate: £583 Per Day - Umbrella only

Role purpose / summary
Responsibilities
  • Data forms one of the key Portfolio Delivery Areas within the MU. Our services support over 30K users across all HMRC business areas, delivering in excess of 1200 releases each year. Data is vital in enabling modernisation agenda and our solutions play a critical role in all of major programmes, including MTD, PCP (Minerva), AEOI and B&T. In addition to maintaining and driving the modernisation legacy warehouse estate, we are also delivering cutting-edge solutions in new technologies such as Denodo, Talend, Pentaho, Infomatica and SAS.
  • We operate in a complex multi-supplier, multi-contract landscape using agile methodologies to deliver at pace. We currently have the largest SAS capability in the UK and work closely with our counterparts in I&D and Invent to bring industry insight and innovation.
  • We are looking for a supply chain lead to do the following;
  • Proactively manages relationship with our selected Partners
  • Attends Monthly supplier calls
  • Responsible for Performance Management process for supplier resources
  • Responsible for creating and managing the PDA supplier strategy, to ensure compliance to our flow down obligation
  • Developing a partner strategy to support overarching contract and campaign objectives and opportunities (e.g. through searching new/alternative partnerships or engaging specific capabilities from current partners)
  • Owns and drives forward CDA Resource Strategy (Considering financials, capability & capacity)
  • Accountable for the overarching Eco-Partner Process within the CDA in collaboration with PMO - (e.g. Appraisal data, onboarding, offboarding, partner reporting, timesheets)
  • Actively governs and reports on performance against flow down obligation targets & SME count
  • Active member of the PDA SLT
  • Responsible for driving additional value from our ecosystem relationships e.g. innovation, continuous improvement, social value
  • Understands elements of delivery/resourcing/sales
