A leading data consultancy is seeking a Data Strategy & Commercialisation Lead to drive data monetisation and product validation in a global environment. This role involves collaborating with teams to create data products that meet market needs while building commercial relationships within the trading ecosystem. Ideal candidates will bring deep industry knowledge and strong communication skills, with the opportunity for remote work across the UK or Europe.
£500 per day | 6-month contract (extensions likely)

At the heart of this role is data discovery — understanding what information trading firms truly value, structuring it into insight, and turning it into a scalable commercial offering.
You’ll start by diving deep into commodity trading data — pricing, logistics, flows, and contracts — working with internal teams and market experts to validate what’s valuable, what’s missing, and what can be built.
Then you’ll move from insight to execution : defining pricing models, developing go-to-market strategies, and ultimately leading commercial deals with some of the world’s most influential trading participants.
You’ll be the connector — translating raw data into a valuable commercial product that reshapes how the industry trades, analyses, and collaborates.
