Job summary

Standard Life plc is seeking a Data Solutions Lead to drive end-to-end data architecture and the design of data solutions on cloud platforms. You will own ingestion, transformation, and modelling with a focus on Databricks, Azure and AWS, working with architects, engineers and analysts to enable AI and analytics initiatives.

The role requires strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and to lead data delivery in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Architect with conceptual, logical and physical modelling.
• Experience designing data solutions on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and data warehouses/lakes.
• Ability to present complex solutions to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of data solutions including ingestion and transformation.
• Develop logical and physical data models emphasizing Databricks, Azure and AWS.
• Collaborate with solution architects, data engineers and analysts to deliver data, AI and analytics capabilities.
