Job summary

Ofcom is seeking an experienced Data Solutions Architect to translate regulatory requirements into scalable data solutions. You will design and govern architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services, ensuring secure, cost-effective data platforms that enable self-service analytics across the organisation.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, experience with enterprise data governance, and knowledge of AI/ML patterns, data ethics and privacy.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and governance.
• Ability to evaluate options and present recommendations to stakeholders.
• Experience with AI, machine learning and data privacy considerations.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and regulatory requirements into end-to-end solution architectures.
• Design scalable data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services.
• Lead the rollout, adoption and governance of Microsoft Fabric across Ofcom.
• Partner with Data Engineers to design secure, resilient data pipelines.
• Ensure architectures support performance, security, and governance.
