Job summary

• Strong automation and scripting skills (Python & Bash) to translate security goals into code and remediation scripts.
• Track record translating governance policies into automated remediation workflows and CI/CD security gates.
• Practical understanding of AI/ML data security risks and experience using AI tools for automating security tasks.
• Collaborative approach to build trusted partnerships across DevOps, Software Engineering, IT, and Privacy teams.

• Manage automated data discovery pipelines to map and protect sensitive information, extending controls to AI-integrated environments.
• Collaborate with Security Architecture to embed data protection controls and IaC baselines into CI/CD workflows.
• Translate data security and compliance policies into executable "Policy-as-Code" and deploy automated guardrails across cloud environments.
• Streamline engineering workflows by building API integrations between security scanners and ticketing systems, using automation to reduce false positives.
• Guide engineering teams with automated feedback loops, documentation, and developer-friendly data protection tools.

About This Role

Join our Security Architecture & Engineering team as a Data Security Specialist and play a pivotal role in making data protection a core aspect of our platform design. You will engineer the controls that safeguard JET's most sensitive data across cloud-native and enterprise environments.

Your mission? To translate architectural data security standards into scalable implementations-from DLP platforms to encryption pipelines-while embedding Privacy and Security by Design into our engineering delivery. You'll work at the intersection of data security engineering and automation, turning continuous insights into automated guardrails that enhance our data defense.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the deployment and daily management of Enterprise DLP and encryption solutions across various environments to protect data at rest, in transit, and in use.
• Manage automated data discovery pipelines to accurately map and protect sensitive information, extending controls to AI-integrated environments.
• Collaborate with the Security Architecture team to embed data protection controls and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) baselines into CI/CD developer workflows.
• Translate data security and compliance policies into executable "Policy-as-Code" and manage the deployment of automated guardrails across cloud environments.
