Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Data Security Specialist to design and implement data protection across cloud-native and enterprise environments. You will translate security standards into scalable, automated guardrails and CI/CD workflows, embedding Privacy and Security by Design into engineering delivery.

You’ll drive automated data discovery, encryption pipelines, and Trust-by-Design across teams, partnering with DevOps, IT, and Privacy to reduce risk while enabling agile development.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and managing data security controls in cloud-native or enterprise environments.
• Strong automation and scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Ability to translate governance policies into automated remediation workflows.
• Knowledge of AI/ML data security risks and related mitigations.
• Collaborative approach across DevOps, Software Eng, IT and Privacy teams.
• Understanding of GDPR and data privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the deployment and daily management of data security controls across cloud, network, endpoint and AI environments.
• Manage automated data discovery pipelines and extend controls to AI-integrated environments.
• Embed data protection controls and IaC baselines into CI/CD developer workflows.
• Translate policies into executable Policy-as-Code and manage automated guardrails.
• Build API integrations between security scanners and ticketing systems to reduce false positives.
• Provide automated feedback loops, documentation, and developer-friendly security tools.
