Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Data Security & DLP Analyst (AI Training) for a fully remote hourly contract. You will apply hands-on expertise in data loss prevention, data classification, and security operations to shape how AI handles sensitive information risk.

You will analyze real-world data leakage scenarios, evaluate prevention and detection strategies, and help train AI systems to reason about exposure paths and controls. 2+ years in security recommended.

• 2+ years in data security, compliance, or security operations.
• Hands-on experience with DLP tools and data classification.
• Familiarity with privacy or regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic data security and DLP scenarios spanning cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments


• Classify data sensitivity levels, exposure pathways, and policy violations


• Evaluate prevention, detection, and incident response strategies for accuracy and completeness


• Generate, label, and validate data security cases used to train and benchmark AI systems


• Help AI reason correctly about how sensitive information is exposed and protected in modern organizations

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations


• Familiar with DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and privacy or regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)


• Practical understanding of how data risk plays out in real-world environments — not just theory


• Able to think clearly about attack paths, exposure scenarios, and control gaps


• Self‑directed and comfortable working independently on task‑based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SaaS data protection controls


• Background in security operations, incident response, or data governance


• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls


• Prior experience contributing to AI training, red‑teaming, or content evaluation
