Job summary

AWE offers an onsite Data Apprenticeship at its Aldermaston and/or Burghfield sites. You’ll learn from experienced data scientists, analysts, engineers and technical specialists while working on real business problems.

This apprenticeship provides a clear path into data science roles with hands‑on projects across engineering, science and operations. Applicants must meet UCAS/maths criteria and be eligible for security clearance.

Qualifications

• 104 UCAS points in total.
• A Level Mathematics at Grade C or above, or equivalent, plus a second STEM-related A Level at Grade C or above, or equivalent.
• Candidates with Grade B or above in Mathematics are particularly encouraged to apply.

• Onsite apprenticeship based at AWE Aldermaston and/or Burghfield, with every other Friday off.

Where this apprenticeship could take you
