Contract Data Scientist - London - £400/day Outside IR35 - Hybrid (2 days onsite) - 6 Months

Join a dynamic and collaborative tech-driven team in London, where data science meets real-world impact. We're seeking a skilled Data Scientist to help shape innovative solutions for the insurance sector, working alongside engineers, underwriters, and product experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop AI-powered tools and data-driven models to solve complex business challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions deliver measurable value.
  • Contribute to initiatives such as a digital high net worth insurance product and portfolio analytics platforms.
  • Participate across the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation aligned with internal delivery frameworks.
  • Uphold best practices in coding, testing, and solution design.
  • Assist QA teams during testing phases and resolve bugs efficiently.
  • Support deployment activities across multiple environments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot operational issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Pursue ongoing development through certifications and training.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Prior experience in the insurance domain is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for traditional data science applications.
  • Hands‑on experience with generative AI tools, particularly Google Gemini.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
