A leading music streaming service is seeking a Data Scientist to join their SAFE Insights team. In this role, you'll design and build performance metrics, execute A/B tests, and analyze complex datasets to drive evidence-based decisions. The ideal candidate has experience in statistics and data science programming (Python, R), and is skilled in visualizations (Tableau, Looker). This position offers flexibility in working from London or Stockholm, with some in-person meetings required.
The Platform team creates the technology that enables Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily, enabling rapid growth in our users and our business around the globe. Spanning many disciplines, we work to make the business work; creating the infrastructure, tooling, frameworks, and capabilities needed to welcome a billion customers.
The SAFE Insights team supports the five studios that make up the SAFE Alliance: User Platform, User Fraud, IT, Security, and PACE (Procurement, Analytics, and Cost Engineering). We help these studios understand their impact by running experiments, defining and building performance metrics, and delivering analyses that guide decision‑making. As a Data Scientist on the team, you’ll collaborate across disciplines to surface insights, shape product thinking, and strengthen a culture of evidence‑driven decisions.
