Job summary

Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is seeking a data analytics specialist to develop advanced models and dashboards using large consumer and market datasets. You will translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for regulatory decision-making.

You will collaborate with CI&A and regulatory teams, ensure governance and data protection, and contribute to an evidence-based culture with scalable analytics and automation. Hybrid work across London, Leeds and Edinburgh offices is supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Demonstrated experience applying statistical analysis and data science techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Experience analysing large datasets using Python, SQL and related technologies.
• Prior experience developing dashboards and analytical reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of data science methodologies including ML and NLP.
• Experience designing scalable analytical solutions and repeatable workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced analytical models using consumer and market datasets to identify risks and signals.
• Design, test and deploy scalable analytical solutions.
• Automate analytical processes and data workflows to improve efficiency.
• Build analytical products, dashboards and tools for evidence-based decision-making.
