Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland in London is seeking a Data Scientist Associate Manager to lead AI/ML delivery for client projects. You will guide a small team, drive GenAI initiatives and build/deploy LLMs and ML models in the Cloud or on HPCs, leveraging your expertise in ML architectures.

The role requires strong Python, cloud experience (AWS or Azure), and knowledge of data governance and security best practices, with a focus on delivering robust, scalable solutions within a consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python development for ML/AI solutions.
• Experience with deploying ML/AI models at scale in cloud or HPC environments.
• Familiarity with ML workflows, CI/CD and model testing.

As a Consultant in MLOps you will:

• Be engaged at the forefront of technological advancements in GenAI and expected to keep up to date with latest trends
• Build and/or deploy LLMs and ML models in the Cloud, or on HPCs
• Lead the day-to-day technical engagements on a project, helping to manage a small team
• Be the go-to technical expert for all things related to Machine Learning and Large Language Models
• Contribute to improving life at Accenture and the wider department by raising your voice and engaging – we want to hear your views!
• Performance manage a small team

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

• Robust programming skills (Python is essential)
• An understanding of one or more of the following:
• Agentic AI systems and Architecture
• Graph RAG
• Traditional RAG
• Vision Language Models / Computer Vision
• Audio Processing
• Experience with Docker, Linux/Unix CLI, Git, and testing.
• Experience with one of a major cloud platform (preferably AWS, or Azure platform).
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.

It would also be great if you have:

• Basic familiarity with utilizing GPUs in the cloud environment
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques for ML models and data pipelines
• Experience building APIs
• Demonstrable experience with modern CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of good DevOps and Data Engineering practices

Whilst having experience in a consultancy is beneficial, demonstrable experience in working with clients/external partners in other settings will always be considered.
