Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment Plc is seeking a Data Architect with a focus on GenAI and an ability to define Data Strategy for a consulting client. The role involves leading technical engagements, mentoring a small team, and acting as the go-to expert on ML/LLMs.

Proven experience with Docker, Linux/Unix CLI, Git, testing, and a major cloud platform is required. DV security clearance is a stated requirement for this role.

Qualifications

• Be engaged at the forefront of GenAI and keep up to date with latest trends.
• Build and/or deploy LLMs and ML models in the Cloud, or on HPCs.
• Lead the day-to-day technical engagements on a project, helping to manage a small team.
• Be the go-to technical expert for all things related to Machine Learning and Large Language Models.
• Robust programming skills.
• An understanding of one or more of the following: Agentic AI systems and Architecture; Graph RAG; Traditional RAG; Vision Language Models/Computer Vision; Audio Processing.
• Experience with Docker, Linux/Unix CLI, Git, and testing.
• Experience with one of a major cloud platform

Responsibilities

• Engage at the forefront of GenAI trends and contribute to architecture discussions.
• Lead project technical engagements and mentor junior team members.
• Deploy/construct ML models and LLMs in cloud or HPC environments.
• Serve as the technical expert on ML/LLM topics for the team.
• Demonstrate robust programming skills across projects.
• Understand and apply Agentic AI, Graph RAG, Vision-Language models, or CV/audio processing domains.
• Use Docker, Linux/Unix CLI, Git, and testing in daily work.
• Work with a major cloud platform to deliver solutions.

Sanderson are working with a consulting client who are looking to grow their Data capability. The client is seeking candidates who have experience of Data Architecture and can define Data Strategy.
