Job summary

Guidant Global is seeking a Data Scientist to contribute to the design, analysis and build of data science solutions across two projects, collaborating with engineers, analysts and product-focused teams in an inclusive community.

You will write Python code for data preparation, analysis and modelling, work with production data pipelines, and support responsible data practices while learning from senior colleagues and communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Around 2-3 years’ experience as a Data Scientist or in a closely related analytics role.
• Strong Python skills with experience contributing to shared codebases.
• Solid grounding in statistics, applied mathematics and scientific analysis techniques.
• Experience handling real-world datasets, including cleaning, validation and exploratory analysis.
• Understanding of how data science moves from experimentation into practical use.
• Awareness of ethical considerations and responsible data practices.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback and engage constructively with challenge.

Working Environment

You’ll typically work across two projects at a time, often with different technical leads, giving you both variety and continuity. The environment values curiosity, evidence-based thinking, and the confidence to question assumptions constructively.

Data scientists work within established delivery frameworks and collaborate closely with engineers, analysts and product-focused teams. Learning happens through doing, supported by an experienced and inclusive data science community.
