Data Scientist – Oxford/ hybrid – Instrumentation

About the Company:

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join a growing instrument company in Oxfordshire. Your role will be to drive the next stage modelling and machine learning capability. You will be pivotal in developing, validating and integrating complex analytical workflows to transform data.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse and interpret data.
  • Develop and enhance analytics pipelines, including signal processing, anomaly detection, and source localisation.
  • Apply machine learning and AI techniques to complement physics-based models and improve detection accuracy.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate and validate models within the cloud platform.
  • Support deployments and deliver insights to assist customers.
  • Produce clear, data-driven reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
