Job summary

Citi Markets in the United Kingdom is seeking a data science professional to build and enhance dashboards and CCR exposure tools for crisis management, regulatory engagements and ongoing risk analysis. The role requires strong SQL, Tableau, and Python skills, with a focus on rigorous data interpretation and fast-paced problem solving.

You will collaborate across XVA Trading, Risk, Operations and Technology, applying analytics to support trading and risk decisions while exploring AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL and Tableau skills are essential; experience with Python or other programming languages would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively both within the immediate team and across broader functions.
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
• Agility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance trading environment
• Ideally, a good understanding of and comfort working with derivatives modelling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and enhance dashboards and Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) exposure tools to support the business during crisis management, internal innovation initiatives and regulatory engagements.
• Support broader projects across the Counterparty Trading & Risk group, providing analysis and investigations related to Counterparty Credit Risk and XVA Trading.
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp new concepts, solve complex problems and think creatively.
• Effectively manage competing priorities and deliver against time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across XVA Trading, ICM, Risk, Operations and Technology.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI-driven innovation into existing dashboards, analytical tools and processes, enhancing efficiency and decision-making.
