This role requires being on-site in Sheffield three days a week.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in financial services is required.

  • Experience in data control automation, dashboarding or issue workflows is a plus.

Job Description

Our Financial Services consultancy are looking to grow their Data and Analytics practice with an experienced Data Risk and Control Monitoring Manager to work with one of their clients in the banking sector. You will need extensive financial services experience and work to design, implement and embed data risk and control frameworks. Your focus will be on enabling the client to govern data effectively, ensuring that quality, usage, access and retention are actively managed and aligned with regulatory standards. You will work directly with the business, risk, compliance and technology teams to drive best practice and measurable improvements.

You will define and implement data risk and control monitoring frameworks and key control indicators and design data control measures to mitigate risks around data quality, access and usage and work with risk, compliance and internal audit to ensure regulatory alignment. Overseeing operationalization of data governance policies. standards and procedures and lead teams to deliver data management capabilities across business units.

Any knowledge of industry data frameworks such as DAMA, DM BOK, DCAM or CDMC would be an advantage as well as experience in data control automation, dashboarding or issue workflows.

You will be working on the client site in Sheffield for 3 days a week.
