Job summary

Journey Recruitment Ltd is representing a well established publishing client near Marlow who seeks a Data Reporting Executive. You will turn campaign data into accurate, polished reports using Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI, with a strong analytical mindset.

This hybrid role includes around 2 days in the office and 3 days at home, and you will produce timely client reports while extracting data from BI systems and ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications

• Around 2+ years’ experience in reporting, data management, business intelligence support or similar role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to spot inconsistencies and investigate results.
• Advanced Excel skills including organizing, checking and presenting data through clear tables and charts.
• Experience using Power BI reports or dashboards to retrieve, interrogate and interpret data.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to turn data into polished, concise client-facing reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to quality control.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to explain performance data to non-technical colleagues and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and prioritise effectively without compromising accuracy.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently; collaborative with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate, timely and professionally presented client campaign reports using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Extracting and reviewing data from Power BI and other internal systems for completeness, consistency and accuracy.
• Reporting on campaign activity including webinars, on-demand content, email, social media and other digital campaigns.
• Analyzing campaign performance measures such as registrations, attendance, on-demand views, engagement, viewing duration and conversion.
• Analyzing audience demographics like geography, job title, specialty and interests where data exists.
• Creating clear tables, charts and supporting commentary to communicate results effectively.
• Working to agreed reporting templates, deadlines and quality-control processes for consistency in presentation and terminology.
• Responding to internal and occasional client queries about campaign results, explaining data clearly and confidently.
