Insurance Times is seeking a Data Reporter to join its award-winning editorial team in London. You will uncover trends, analyse research and turn data into engaging content for digital, print, social and email channels.

You’ll own coverage of proprietary research projects and report on important third-party studies for insurance professionals. You’ll build industry relationships, contribute to events, support research projects and act as an ambassador for the brand, while working in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience in journalism, content creation or business publishing.
• Strong writing, interviewing and storytelling skills.
• Excellent numerical literacy with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience working with research, surveys, statistics or analytical content.

Responsibilities

• Produce engaging, data-led content for digital, print, newsletters and social channels.
• Lead coverage of Insurance Times research projects, surveys and rankings.
• Identify trends using proprietary and third-party research.
• Manage the Data Matters content calendar and scheduling.
• Generate feature ideas from research findings and market trends.
• Write planned and reactive content to daily deadlines.
• Promote content across social media and email newsletters.
• Support webinars, conferences and events through reporting and interviews.
• Collaborate with Head of Research to develop editorial plans around campaigns.
• Build relationships with insurers, brokers, MGAs and industry bodies.
• Support participation in Insurance Times research programmes.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver audience-focused content.
