Sony Europe is offering a Data Quality & Systems Intern position in Weybridge. Start date is 5 July 2027.

The role sits within the B2B Application Support team and focuses on ensuring data accuracy and process improvements in supply chain, sales and marketing systems. You will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reconciliation, and automation opportunities while working alongside experienced colleagues in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset with an eye for detail and a willingness to investigate data discrepancies.
• Clear communication with colleagues across different teams.
• Strong interest in using Excel to analyse data, identify discrepancies and improve processes.
• Willingness to work closely with different teams and stakeholders.
• Interest in understanding business processes, customer requirements and data discrepancies.
• Confidence to try new approaches, learn from mistakes and ask for support when needed.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile purchase orders and reservation orders between SAP and the demand planning tool.
• Perform daily data quality checks on reports from the demand planning tool and correct issues.
• Update SharePoint user groups monthly to reflect current access requirements.
• Assist with a SharePoint improvement project to refresh content and structure (optional).
• Register new customer and material combinations in the demand planning tool.
• Review customer EDI interface reports and liaise with business teams to update records.
