Job summary

The Metropolitan Police is seeking a Data Manager-Data Quality to lead the Data Quality function within the Digital & Innovation Business Group. The role focuses on maturing data quality governance across policing data, producing insightful reports and dashboards, and guiding cross-team collaboration to drive strategic data initiatives.

You will manage a team, engage stakeholders, and promote a proactive culture of data quality and continuous improvement in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data quality and governance within policing or public sector.
• Experience leading data professionals and developing teams.
• Experience with Office 365, SharePoint and PowerApps.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Data Quality Supervisors and Assistants.
• Uphold and improve Data quality standards.
• Produce monthly data quality reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across DDaT and wider Met.
• Drive data quality improvements and risk mitigation.
