Job summary

Dentro Talent is recruiting for a Data Quality and Data Governance role in Birmingham, operating on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office. The position focuses on Data Quality and Governance within financial services, with emphasis on MS Purview platform, data ownership and stewardship practices.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Purview, developing rules, data quality controls, and reporting, and will engage in continuous improvement and responsible AI initiatives.

Data Quality - Data Governance - Financila Services (ideally) - Birmingham - Hybrid (2 days in the office) - Circa £45-55k - Training and Development available

Dentro are hiring for a growing financial services business based in Birmingham, the role sits in their Data function and is focused on Data Quality and Governance, with spoecific requirements around their MS Purview platform. The business have intoruced some new ways of working which include the usage and development of their AI platforms and are looking for someone to embed quality controls and monitoring rules.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Management or Risk Management, ideally within financial services, along with a solid understanding of master data management, governance frameworks, data ownership and stewardship practices.

They should have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, including creating and defining rules, data quality controls, metrics and reporting, as well as the analytical skills to identify root causes and drive effective remediation.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, alongside a proactive approach to continuous improvement and promoting a culture of data quality and responsible AI use.

The role will grow as the business and function does, there will be training and development opportunitues across Purview and AI to support you in this role.
