Join our dynamic team as a Program/Project Manager and lead data quality transformation impacting regulatory reporting.
As a Data Quality and Defect Remediation Project Manager Vice President within the Market Operations Regulatory Reporting team, you will be a key driver in transforming strategic plans into tangible programs and projects, delivering impactful results across various business units, thereby further improving data quality and defect remediation. You will leverage your deep knowledge and expertise in project management to navigate complex issues, make informed decisions, and ensure successful program execution. This role involves significant cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and partnerships with technology and business teams to achieve management's goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage data quality and defects arising from multiple sources.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Money Markets, Fixed Income, Stock Borrow Loans, and other derivative products.
- Manage regulatory reporting change programs/projects driven by external regulatory bodies and internal business initiatives impacting Money Markets, Securities-Based Lending, Fixed Income, etc.
- Perform regular Data Quality reviews in partnership with BAU Teams.
- Learn and adopt new tools that facilitate Data Quality assessment.
- Oversee program execution, ensuring alignment with business strategy, effective risk mitigation, and timely delivery.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor progress, make informed decisions, and adjust as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
- Work closely with data architects, engineers, and compliance officers to gather requirements and validate data flows.
- Collaborate with teams across multiple locations and functions.
- Engage with senior management and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues collaboratively.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Subject matter expertise in at least two major G20 regulations involving Money Markets, Fixed Income, Stock Borrow Loans, and derivatives.
- Ability to analyze data and propose or help devise data quality rules.
- Experience managing defects and navigating impacted applications with technology partners to develop solutions and delivery plans.
- Proven leadership in managing complex programs or projects across business units.
- Deep understanding of the Regulatory Reporting environment with experience in at least two major G20 regulations.
- Proficiency in data analytics, interpreting models, and providing insights for program execution.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and help clarify complex problems.
- Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to use data to evaluate issues and opportunities, and develop strategies and priorities.
