Job summary

NFP is hiring a Data Protection Administrator to support the Technology team in the UK and Ireland. You will ensure compliance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, maintain policies and records, and provide guidance on data protection across staff and stakeholders.

You will also handle DSARs, data breach incidents, and DPIAs, while training staff on data protection principles and coordinating with the ICO when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in data protection or a similar role.
• Knowledge of UK GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.
• Ability to explain complex data protection concepts to varied audiences.
• Desirable but not essential: data protection certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and review data protection policies and procedures.
• Monitor compliance of data processing activities with laws and internal policies.
• Perform DPIAs and data mapping to identify risks.
• Manage data subject access requests and data breach incidents.
• Liaise with ICO and other authorities as required.
