We're looking for a dedicated Data Protection Officer (DPO) to champion our data privacy strategy, ensure full GDPR compliance, and foster a strong culture of data responsibility across our 13 companies. This is a chance to make a critical, positive impact within a truly values-driven organisation.

Key Criteria: What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead Compliance: Ensure all group companies adhere to GDPR and relevant data protection laws.
  • Strategy & Policy: Develop, implement, and maintain robust data protection and information security policies.
  • Expert Guidance: Deliver essential training and provide expert advice to staff, building a privacy-first culture.
  • Risk Management: Conduct supportive audits and assist with incident management.
Key Criteria: What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Certification is Essential: Recognised Data Protection Certification (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CRISC or similar).
  • GDPR Expertise: In-depth, practical working knowledge of GDPR and data security best practices.
  • Proven Experience: A track record in data protection, compliance, and risk management, ideally in a large organisation.
  • Sector: Third Sector (Charity) or Healthcare-related, advantageous but not essential.
  • Qualifications: Degree in a relevant field (Information Management Systems, etc).
