Salary: £38,414.20 - Location: Grantham (Flexibility for Home-Based working) - Contract: Permanent, 39 hours/week

Responsibilities
  • Lead Compliance: Ensure all group companies adhere to GDPR and relevant data protection laws.
  • Strategy & Policy: Develop, implement, and maintain robust data protection and information security policies.
  • Expert Guidance: Deliver essential training and provide expert advice to staff, building a privacy-first culture.
  • Risk Management: Conduct supportive audits and assist with incident management.
Qualifications
  • Certification is Essential: Recognised Data Protection Certification (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CRISC or similar).
  • GDPR Expertise: In-depth, practical working knowledge of GDPR and data security best practices.
  • Proven Experience: A track record in data protection, compliance, and risk management, ideally in a large organisation
  • Sector: Third Sector (Charity) or Healthcare-related, advantageous but not essential
  • Qualifications: Degree in a relevant field. ( Information Management Systems, etc)
