Description

Are you passionate about data protection and information security? Do you want to play a key role in safeguarding data and driving compliance across a dynamic organisation? Solvd. is looking for a Data Protection Manager to join our team and lead on data protection strategy and best practice.

What you'll do

  • Maintain and enhance our data protection framework, policies, and processes to ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
  • Drive the implementation and ongoing maintenance of ISO27001:2022.
  • Act as the first point of contact for data protection queries, breaches, and subject access requests.
  • Deliver engaging data protection training to colleagues and promote best practice across departments.
  • Manage Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and attend group Data Protection Forums.
  • Support information security initiatives and contribute to ISO 27001 certification.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • Advanced knowledge of data protection regulations and GDPR.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of information security principles and a willingness to develop further.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with auditors, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • IT proficiency (Microsoft Office suite).

Desirable

  • GDPR qualifications
  • Experience with ISO 27001
  • Data protection auditing
