Job summary

Office Angels are seeking a proactive Data Protection Coordinator to join a leading Charity based in Lambeth North. This role offers a hybrid pattern (2 days in office) with a 2-3 month duration and a 9am-5pm schedule. The position pays £15 per hour and includes exclusive OA benefits, with ASAP start required.

You will implement data protection policies, respond to SARS, and support volunteers and area teams while promoting GDPR best practices in a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience in applying Data Protection legislation and GDPR.
• Experience delivering projects to meet outputs and reporting requirements.
• Experience in customer-facing role via telephone and email.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to use standard office tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement the company data protection policies and lead responses to Subject Access Requests (SARS).
• Ensure work aligns with data protection policies and statutory requirements.
• Deliver effective support for volunteers and area management teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement the companies data protection policies and lead on the responses to Subject Access Requests (SARS)
• Ensuring work is developed, delivered and promoted in line with data protection policies and statutory requirements
• Deliver effective support for volunteers and area management teams
• Good practice in relation to data protection
• Creating and promoting GDPR best practices

Requirements

• Knowledge of and experience in applying Data Protection legislation and GDPR
• Experience of delivering projects to meet agreed outputs and outcomes and of delivering against reporting procedures and requirements
• Experience of working in a customer facing role, including handling enquiries by telephone and email
• Strong IT literacy

Desirable

• Experience of working with volunteers
• Experience of project management processes
