Graphcore is seeking a Data Protection Analyst to strengthen our global privacy governance. You will support our data protection programme, keep practices robust, and help teams make informed decisions while meeting evolving laws.

You will manage data subject requests, assist incident investigations and contribute to training, metrics, and reporting on legislative changes across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

About the job

Help shape privacy governance for a global AI compute business with complex data protection needs.

Graphcore is looking for a Data Protection Analyst to support our global data protection programme. You will help keep our privacy practices robust, practical and aligned with evolving laws.

This role matters because privacy touches every part of how Graphcore works. You will help teams understand risk, make better decisions and respond with confidence.

You will maintain core privacy governance, support assessments, manage data subject requests and help investigate incidents. You will also deliver training, produce metrics and track legislative change across multiple jurisdictions.

It is a rare chance to build breadth across privacy, compliance, technology and operational risk. Your work will strengthen trust across Graphcore and beyond.

The team and culture

You will sit within Quality and Compliance, working closely with the teams that create, operate and support Graphcore’s business. Expect regular contact with engineering, operations, IT, facilities and corporate functions.

Work happens through evidence, clear ownership and timely decisions. You will keep governance moving, flag risks early and help teams act within deadlines.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, risk or a closely related field
• Working knowledge of UK & EU GDPR and how to apply it in practice
• Understanding of privacy risk assessments, data protection frameworks and supplier due diligence
• Strong organisation across governance records, data inventories, retention schedules and statutory deadlines
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical teams, including confidence to speak up
• Curiosity to track legislation, improve controls and turn privacy evidence into action
